We took this cruise in June 2009 to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. It was one of the best vacations we have ever taken! Even though the water level of the Danube was extremely high due to a rainy spring, the organizers went out of their way to get us to our planned destinations, and we arrived on time. The boat was immaculate, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. We are planning another cruise in a year or two and can't wait to experience a second boutique river boat cruise. My husband & I recently returned from our honeymoon, which included a Danube cruise, from Nuremberg to Vienna. Though this type of cruise may not be considered a typical honeymoon excursion, it was everything (and more) that we hoped for. We absolutely LOVED it! The Uniworld staff was simply wonderful, going above and beyond at every juncture. Not only were they courteous & professional, but they were also FUN. Beyond the crew, we loved the excursions: very low-key options of taking the tour, staying on the boat or going your own way. No pressure, beyond your ... own interests.
