This was the first trip I took with Uniworld and it was great. I went on this trip alone and at no time did I feel alone at all. I was the youngest on the trip, in my mid 40's, but I met so many nice people and the guide was just amazing. His name was Ahmed Taher and was the best guide I have had. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We all felt very safe and secure in everything that we did in Egypt. He also helped me get train tickets to ... Alexandria. I would suggest that if you do an extra trip like this to just spend the extra money to work with Uniworld or another guided service. I had a lot of downtime because it took me some time to get a guide out in Alexandria. It might be more money but worth the piece of mind and less waiting around. Things to be prepared for in Egypt is that when you go to tour in the sites you will have tons of venders that are a pain in the butt. Listen to your Guide when they tell you where to buy and how much to pay. They are great with helping you out. I would highly recommend this trip to any one who has ever thought of going to Egypt.
